The investment objective of the Fund is to provide a total return through a combination of capital growth and income over the long term (10 years +).

The Fund will seek to achieve its objective by investing in a globally diversified portfolio, primarily (at least 70%) consisting of a range of open-ended funds and other collective investment vehicles such as investment trusts and exchange traded funds (which may include those managed or operated by the ACD and Investment Manager) which will provide exposure to asset classes, mainly (at least 50%) equities and to a lesser extent fixed income, money market instruments, cash. There may also be exposure to alternatives such as, property and commodities.
The Fund may also invest directly in equities (with such direct equity exposure typically expected to involve between 5 and 15% of the portfolio), fixed income, money market instruments, deposits, cash and near cash.
The Fund will be actively managed.
The Fund will not have any particular geographic, industry or economic sector focus and as such weightings in these may vary as required.
